Video Production Preparation

First, it’s important to know that unless you’re a shady person with an investigative team hot on your trail, most every reporter or field producer really wants you to succeed.  We want to capture those unforgettable answers that make a news story or production piece exceptional.  Knowing that should allow you to go into the interview with at least some level of comfort and confidence.  It’s good to know your talking points but try not to memorize.  You want to maintain that authenticity that’s found through the interactive interview experience.
